The short version
- No setup fee. Your first monthly payment starts the work. It is not a deposit and it is not a free month.
- Short starter term. 6 months on The Masterpiece and The Gallery, 12 on The Sketch. Then month-to-month on 30 days' notice.
- Leaving early costs half of what's left on your term. Count the months remaining, multiply by your monthly, halve it. It falls every month you stay.
- No refunds on payments already made.
- Third-party costs are yours, not ours. Domain registration/renewal, and any platform you choose to use (Shopify, Square, etc.), are billed to you directly by that provider.
- You own everything. Domain, code, content, photos, yours from day one, and they leave with you.
- Move up any time. You pay only the prorated price difference for the rest of your billing period, upgrading never restarts your term.
Everything below just says the same things with more precision. If the two ever seem to disagree, the signed agreement for your specific plan is what controls.

1. Who these terms are between
These Terms of Service govern the website design and local-marketing plans provided by Stratos Dynamics, LLC, doing business as Look Good Online ("Look Good Online," "we," "us"), an entity organized in the State of Georgia, to you, the client ("you"). They apply from the moment you purchase a plan, whether you check out on this site, sign an agreement we send you, or both.
These terms are separate from our Website Terms of Use, which only cover browsing this site and create no service obligation.
2. The plans
We currently offer three recurring monthly plans, The Sketch ($350/mo), The Masterpiece ($850/mo), and The Gallery ($1,900/mo), plus custom packages assembled from individual services on our package builder, and an occasional one-time site build.
What each plan includes is described on our pricing page, and is set out definitively in the signed agreement for your plan. For a custom package, the services listed in Exhibit A of your agreement are the scope, only those services, at those prices.
The Gallery is limited to the Atlanta, GA and Dallas-Fort Worth, TX areas (within 35 miles of our Atlanta, GA base, or 20 miles of our Dallas-Fort Worth, TX base), because it includes a monthly on-site photo and video shoot, which is a person with a camera rather than something that works over the internet. If you are outside both radii, please don't purchase it, contact us and we'll put you on the right plan.
3. What you pay, and when
There is no setup fee and no deposit. There's no separate charge to build your website, its cost is recovered through the monthly fee over your starter term.
To be unambiguous: that does not mean your first month is free or deferred. Your first monthly payment is taken when your plan is set up, that payment is what starts the build, and that date becomes your recurring billing date. Every following month is billed in advance on the same date.
Paying yearly. You may prepay twelve months instead. You pay eleven months' fees for twelve months of service, described on the site as two months at half price, roughly 8.3% off. Prepaying does not shorten your starter term.
Failed payments. If a payment fails we'll tell you and give you a chance to fix it. If an account stays unpaid we may pause the work until it's current. A pause is not a cancellation, the plan and its term continue.
Taxes. Prices are exclusive of any applicable sales or use tax, which will be added where required.
Third-party costs are separate from your plan fee. If your site or package needs something billed by another company, domain registration and renewal, a Shopify subscription if the store module routes through Shopify, Square if you use it to take in-person payments, or similar, that cost is billed to you directly by that provider, on your own account with them. It is never a Look Good Online line item and never included in your monthly fee.
4. Your starter term
Every recurring plan begins with a starter term that runs from your service start date:
- The Sketch, 12 months
- The Masterpiece, 6 months
- The Gallery, 6 months
- Custom packages, your choice, 6 to 12 months, picked on the package builder and fixed at signing. A longer term earns up to 10% off the monthly rate.
There are two honest reasons for it. Your first monthly payment is what starts the build, and we need a fair chance to earn that back over the term. And local search ranking is slow, most businesses don't see meaningful movement until the 60-to-90 day mark, so a shorter commitment would have you paying for the setup phase and leaving right before the results phase.
After the starter term, you're month-to-month and can cancel any time with 30 days' written notice, with no fee at all.
5. Cancelling, and the early cancellation fee
You can leave whenever you want. We'd rather you didn't feel trapped.
During your starter term: give us written notice and pay a one-time Early Cancellation Fee equal to half of the fees remaining on your starter term as of the day you cancel. Count the whole months left, multiply by your monthly fee, then halve it. Example: on The Masterpiece at $850/mo with 4 whole months left, 4 x $850 = $3,400 remaining, so the fee is $1,700. The figure falls every month you stay and reaches zero once the term is complete.
That fee is our pre-estimate of what an early exit actually costs us: the profit we would have earned over the rest of your term, plus the part of your free build and setup work we have not earned back yet. How much that comes to genuinely depends on how far into the term you are and whether we can resell the freed capacity, which is why it is set in advance as a fixed formula rather than argued after the fact. It is an estimate of our loss, not a penalty.
After your starter term: 30 days' written notice, and no fee whatsoever.
The fee does not apply if we cancel on you without cause, or if you're leaving because we materially broke this agreement and didn't fix it within 30 days of you telling us. It does apply if we have to terminate during your starter term because you stopped paying or seriously breached the agreement.
Email to support@lookgoodonline.com counts as written notice.
6. Refunds
Payments already made are not refunded. That includes monthly fees and any partial month in which you cancel, your service simply continues through the end of the period you've paid for. It also includes the deposit and balance on a one-time build, which is work made specifically for you and can't be resold.
There is one exception: if you prepaid for a year and you cancel because of something we did, we materially breached the agreement and didn't fix it, we will refund the unused whole months of that prepayment.
We'd rather fix a problem than argue about a refund. If something isn't right, tell us before you cancel and give us a real chance to put it right.
7. Moving up or down a plan
You can move up to a higher plan at any time. You pay a one-time prorated charge, the difference between your old and new plan's price for the days left in your current billing period, that is the only extra cost. After that, the new rate simply starts on your next billing date, we don't backdate anything else. Upgrading does not restart or extend your starter term; you keep every month of credit you've already built toward it.
Moving down is available once your starter term is complete, on 30 days' notice. Asking to downgrade during the starter term is treated as a cancellation under Section 5.
You can also bolt individual services onto any plan at our published prices, by written change order. Adding services doesn't change your term.
8. What you own
Your domain, your website code, your content, and any photos or video we shoot for you are yours, registered in your name from day one, and they leave with you. When a plan ends and your account is paid up, we hand over a clean export and transfer anything still in our name, within 15 days.
Two normal carve-outs: third-party and open-source components stay under their own licenses, and our own pre-existing tools, templates, and know-how remain ours (you get a license to keep using them as part of your site).
9. Call tracking, you keep your own number
The Masterpiece and The Gallery include a tracked phone number. That number is an additional line that forwards to the business number you already use. We never ask you to give up, port away, or replace your own number. If you leave, the tracked number is switched off and your own number carries on working exactly as it always did, the number on your truck, your signs, and your business cards is never at risk.
Calls to the tracked number are recorded, and every tracked number announces it. At the start of every call the caller hears an automatic announcement that the call may be recorded. That announcement is always on, on every number, and we will not switch it off for anyone. Recordings are there so we can report on your calls and help you handle them better, they are available to you, and we do not sell them or give them to anyone else. Calls that come in on your own business line are not recorded.
10. What we don't promise
We do not guarantee any number of calls, leads, form fills, or any particular Google ranking. Nobody honest can, search results depend on competitors, Google's algorithms, your reviews, your market, and factors none of us control.
What we do guarantee is the work: that the deliverables in your plan get done every month, and that on The Masterpiece and up we show you the tracked numbers behind them rather than asking you to take our word for it.
11. What we need from you
The work depends on you giving us what we need to do it: your business details, logo and photos where you have them, access to your Google Business Profile and domain registrar, and reasonably timely answers when we ask a question. If we're blocked waiting on you, timelines move, and your billing doesn't pause while we wait.
You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us, and that it isn't unlawful or someone else's property.
12. Limits on our liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three (3) months before the claim arose, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business. This does not limit liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
The services are otherwise provided on an "as is" basis. We don't warrant that a website will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we monitor and fix things promptly.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the business changes. If a change materially affects an active client, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email, and it takes effect on your next billing date. A change to these terms never alters the price or the term of an agreement you've already signed, that agreement controls for as long as it runs.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute is Fulton County, Georgia. Before filing anything, both of us agree to try to sort it out directly, email first, then a phone call.
15. Questions
Ask before you buy, not after. support@lookgoodonline.com, a real person answers within one business day.
