What happens next

Every step, start to finish, nothing hidden.

Most agencies are vague about this on purpose. Here's the whole thing: what happens, in what order, how long it takes, and exactly when money changes hands.

The short version

You reach out → we reply within a day → quick call to confirm and swap numbers → you sign → your first monthly payment starts the build → live in about two weeks. No setup fee or deposit, the first month's payment is the only thing due to begin.

The steps, in order

1

You get in touch, or price it yourself first

Two ways in. Use the package builder to assemble exactly what you want and see the monthly price instantly, or just send a short note describing what's going on. Either lands with a real person. There is no chatbot and no lead-qualification gauntlet.

Takes you 2 minutes
2

A real reply with a plan and a price

Not a brochure and not a calendar link. You get an actual response naming which plan fits, what it costs, and what we'd do first, or an honest "we're not the right fit," which we'd rather say now than take your money and disappoint you in month three.

Within 1 business day
3

A short call to confirm the details

When you're seriously considering a plan, we hop on the phone and go through it properly, what's included, what isn't, what happens first, and anything in the agreement you want explained. This is the point where we exchange phone numbers, so from then on you have a direct line to the team doing your work. Nothing is charged and nothing is signed on this call.

15–20 minutes, whenever suits you
4

You sign a plain-English agreement

We send the actual contract for your plan. It's written to be read, not to hide things, you own the domain and site, cancellation terms are stated plainly, and there's an explicit section saying we do not guarantee lead counts or rankings. Read it, ask about anything, sign when you're happy.

Same day you decide
5

First payment sets your start date

No setup fee. No deposit and no build invoice either. Your first monthly payment is what starts the clock, work begins once it clears, and your billing date is that same day each month from then on.

Whenever you're ready
6

We collect what we need, once

One intake covers it: business name and address exactly as it should appear everywhere, services, service area, hours, logo, and any photos you have. If you don't have good photos, we'll tell you what to shoot on your phone. We do the writing.

Days 1–2
7

We build it and you review a live draft

Your site gets built and put on a real working URL, not a flat mockup image. You click through it on your own phone, tell us what to change, and we change it. This is the round where opinions are cheap, so use it.

8

Google Business Profile gets set up properly

In parallel we claim or create your Google Business Profile and fill in every single field, categories, services, service area, hours, description, photos. This is the part most web shops skip, and it's most of what actually gets a local business found.

Days 3–7 (verification can take longer)
9

Launch day

The site goes live on your domain, in your name, with SSL. We check it on real phones before we call it done. You get the logins, because you own it, not us.

The monthly work begins

This is where the plan you chose actually earns its keep. Every plan includes hosting, security, backups, monitoring, and monthly edits. The Masterpiece adds local SEO and a tracked number with a monthly report. The Gallery adds the on-site shoot, social posts, and marketing materials.

Common questions about the process

Things people ask before starting.

When do I actually pay anything?
Your first monthly payment, after you've signed. There is no setup fee, no deposit, and no build invoice, nothing is due before then. Work starts once that first payment clears, and that date becomes your billing date each month.
Do I get a phone number for you?
Yes, we exchange numbers on the confirmation call, before anything is signed. From that point you have a direct line to the team doing your work. Up until then, email is the fastest way to reach us and it's answered within one business day by a real person.
What if I don't like the draft?
You tell us and we change it. The review round exists precisely so you can be picky before anything is public. We'd much rather rework a homepage twice than launch something you're quietly unhappy with.
What do you need from me?
Less than you'd think. Your business name, address, and phone exactly as they should appear everywhere; your services; the areas you cover; your hours; your logo if you have one; and any photos of your work. If you don't have decent photos, we'll tell you exactly what to shoot on your phone. We handle the writing.
How long until I actually see results?
The site is live in about two weeks. Local ranking is slower, most businesses see their Map Pack position start moving in the first 60–90 days, and it keeps improving as reviews and citations build. Anyone promising you page one in a week is lying to you.
What if I want to stop?
The Masterpiece and The Gallery run a 6-month starter term; The Sketch runs 12 months. Leaving during that term costs half of the fees remaining on it, so the figure falls every month you stay and reaches zero at the end. After the starter term it's month-to-month with 30 days' written notice and no fee at all. Either way you keep the site, the domain, and the content.
